Flying

A day steeped in the history of Duxford at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, South of Cambridge at Junction 10 of the M11.

• 9.30 Guests arrive. Coffee & biscuits and briefing in the Air Traffic Control Tower
• Divide into teams of 7-8 people
• 10.0 – 11.30 Activities commence

Activities include:

• Individual flying lessons in a Tiger Moth
• Tank Driving
• Helicopter lesson
• Aerial search mission in a Cessna 172

• 11.30 – 13.00 Teams change over
• 13.00 – 14.00 Two course buffet lunch in the Control Tower
• 14.00 – 15.30 Activities recommence
• 15.30 – 17.00 Teams change over
• 17.00 Afternoon tea followed by Prizegiving with sparkling wine (prizes to order from the museum shop)
